Fiio SP3 BT Active Desktop Speakers

The Fiio SP3 BT takes the acoustics of the SP3 and turns it into a complete one box pair desktop hub. The same die-cast aluminum cabinets and carbon fiber drivers gain Bluetooth with LDAC plus USB, optical and coaxial digital inputs, so your PC, TV, console and phone all plug into one tidy system from our speaker collection.

Type and Technology

Acoustically identical to the SP3: a 3.5 inch carbon fiber woofer and 1 inch silk dome tweeter per side, actively bi-amped at 30W plus 10W per speaker for 80W total. The BT model adds a Qualcomm QCC5124 Bluetooth section supporting LDAC up to 990kbps, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX LL, aptX, AAC and SBC, alongside USB-C at up to 32 bit 96kHz, coaxial and optical inputs plus the original RCA and 3.5mm AUX.

Sound Character

Expect the same warm, smooth and punchy signature as the SP3, with controlled bass from the S shaped port and response of 65Hz to 20kHz within 2dB. A 10 band parametric EQ in the FiiO Control app (connected over Bluetooth) lets you shape the sound, and firmware updates arrive the same way.

Build and Features

The RGB status light steps up to a full input indicator: blue for RCA, green for AUX, purple for optical, yellow for coaxial and orange for USB, with the active Bluetooth codec shown by a pulsing color. Cabinets remain liquid die-cast aluminum with both flat and 7 degree tilt silicone stands included. Note that there is no remote control; volume is on the rear dial.
