Fiio FF3S Earbuds

The Fiio FF3S refines the FF3 formula: the same 14.2 mm beryllium plated driver voiced through dual drum bass cavities, now in aluminum shells barely half the weight, with a detachable 2 pin cable and swappable plugs.

Type and Technology

The 14.2 mm dynamic driver keeps the beryllium plated dome, PU gasket, and 0.033 mm Daikoku voice coil, but the acoustic architecture moves to dual drum cavities with a bass flute channel for deeper, cleaner low end from an open fit. The 152 wire silver plated monocrystalline copper cable detaches on 0.78 mm 2 pin connectors and ships with both 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm twist lock plugs.

Sound Character

Compared with the warmer FF3, the FF3S plays it more even handed: a gentle U shape with controlled textured bass that stays out of the mids, cleaner more open vocals, and an airy presentation that reviewers call the most balanced tuning in Fiio's earbud range.

Build and Comfort

Matte aluminum shells with a golden triangle faceplate motif weigh just 3.9 g per bud, about 52 percent lighter than the FF3. Foam covers, anti slip rings, and wing hooks in the box let you dial in the fit, and an HB11 hard case protects everything in a pocket.
