Campfire Audio Iris

Iris is a compact two-driver hybrid in-ear monitor pairing a 10mm Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon (ADLC) dynamic driver with a high-frequency balanced armature, housed in a transparent 3D-printed acrylic shell. Designed as a daily-carry IEM that retains the technical performance Campfire's flagships are known for. Hand-built in Portland, Oregon.

Type and Technology

Universal-fit hybrid IEM. One 10mm ADLC dynamic driver for low and mid frequencies. One high-performance balanced armature for highs. Custom Matrix MMCX connector at the earphone side. Two included Time Stream Metal Series cables (four silver-plated copper conductors each) with 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced terminations.

Sound Character

Dynamic and engaging, with deep-reaching bass weight from the ADLC dynamic and crisp, energetic upper-frequency detail from the balanced armature. Tuning leans toward musical contrast rather than strict neutrality, giving rock, electronic, and modern pop material a sense of drive without overwhelming vocal clarity. Stage is intimate but well-separated.

Build and Comfort

3D-printed transparent acrylic housing with stainless steel nozzle and MMCX captures. Low-profile shell shape sized for long-session comfort and a flush wear style. Hand-assembled in Portland, Oregon.
