Campfire Audio Alien Brain

Alien Brain is a five-driver hybrid in-ear monitor built around a new 10mm Glass-PU dual-magnet dynamic driver paired with two midrange and two high-frequency balanced armatures, finished in a black PVD stainless steel shell with iridescent blue dome lids. Hand-built in Portland, Oregon.

Universal-fit five-driver hybrid IEM. One 10mm dual-magnet dynamic driver with a glass / polyurethane composite diaphragm for lows. Two balanced armatures for mids. Two balanced armatures for highs. Custom Matrix MMCX connector with PVD fastener ring capture. Two included Time Stream cables (3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced) plus a 32-bit / 384 kHz USB-C DAC cable (DSD 128 / DSD 256).

Sound Character

Deep, textured low frequencies in measured rather than overblown quantity; rich, articulate mids from the dual midrange armatures; smoothed upper frequencies that retain detail without becoming fatiguing across long listening sessions. Stage is wide for an IEM at this price tier, with strong instrument separation.

Build and Comfort

Black PVD stainless steel outer shell with a contoured ergonomic profile, blue PVD aluminum fastener-ring accents at the MMCX capture, and iridescent blue dome lids. Sized for secure long-session wear.
