Aune AC45

The Aune AC45 brings real audiophile tuning to the open-ear, clip-on format. There is no headband and no in-ear seal: a shape-adaptive aluminum ear hook rests a full-size 40mm driver gently against your ear, so music stays airy and natural while you stay aware of the world around you.

As the entry point to Aune's new AC clip-on line, the AC45 pairs serious driver engineering with a detachable cable system that is rare in this category, including a balanced 4.4mm termination straight out of the box.

Type and Technology

The AC45 is a wired, open clip-on headphone built around a 40mm dynamic driver with a W-shaped bio-fiber composite diaphragm offering roughly 70 percent more vibration area than conventional clip-on drivers, supported by an independent linear surround and a high-dynamic symmetric motor system. With 18 ohm impedance and 112dB sensitivity, it runs happily from phones, dongles and portable players.

Sound Character

Warm, musical and open. The fully open architecture diffuses sound naturally for a spacious, out-of-head presentation, while the large diaphragm keeps surprising body in the low end for an unsealed design. Treble extends smoothly to 40kHz without edge.

Build and Comfort

Each earpiece weighs just 35g, and the semi-memory aluminum ear hooks adapt to your ear shape for secure, pressure-free wear over long sessions. The detachable 1.25m OFC Litz cable uses 0.78mm 2-pin connectors with interchangeable 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced terminations.
