ZiiGaat x Fresh Reviews Arete II

The original Arete, built with audio YouTuber Fresh Reviews, sold tens of thousands of units on the strength of its tuning. The ZiiGaat x Fresh Reviews Arete II returns with everything fans loved, now refined with a new subwoofer, sharper tuning, a bass switch, and a full metal build in Blue or Red.

Type and Technology

The second generation platform keeps the 1DD+4BA hybrid layout. A new 10mm liquid silicone suspension diaphragm dynamic driver with a stronger neodymium magnet array is engineered specifically for subwoofer duty. Two Knowles ED 29689 armatures power the midrange and dual Knowles SWFK 31736 tweeters handle the treble through a wider tube with enhanced placement for greater ultra treble extension. A small switch on each earpiece boosts bass and lower midrange, handy for gaming and bass forward sessions.

Sound Character

Compared with the original, the lows reach deeper with fuller weight and cleaner transitions into the midrange. Mids are slightly lifted for a more lush vocal and instrument texture with a precise 3kHz presence peak, and the treble gains extension and air. Flip the switch and the low end steps forward without losing composure.

Build and Comfort

Each shell and faceplate is CNC machined from solid aerospace grade aluminum, hardened and hand finished before surface treatment. The included interchangeable 0.78mm 2 pin cable uses ultra pure silver plated oxygen free copper with modular 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs.
