ZiiGaat Crescent

The ZiiGaat Crescent is a four driver hybrid in ear monitor with a personality of its own. Its sound is often described as analog, with a hint of retro twang reminiscent of vintage tube gear, yet it stays crisp and snappy thanks to fast transients and careful tuning.

Type and Technology

Two dynamic drivers and two balanced armatures work per side, each fully independent and non redundant. The dynamic pair sits in an isobaric arrangement: a 10mm PET diaphragm driver supplies thumpy kick and rumble while a 10mm LCP diaphragm keeps the bass and low mids fast and tight. A custom ported Knowles 30262-163 armature carries the midrange and a Knowles 33518 tweeter draws out micro details up top.

Sound Character

A robust 10dB sub bass shelf cuts off precisely at 250Hz, keeping the lows thumpy and focused with zero midrange bloat. Vocals and instruments come through accurate with their inherent warmth and texture, and the treble has real bite and sizzle with a natural decay that stays free of harshness. Snappy, crisp, fresh, and a little nostalgic.

Build and Comfort

Each Crescent is handcrafted from 3D printed imported medical grade resin with hand poured, individually decorated faceplates. Drivers are hand tested and paired for channel matching, and every unit is tested again before final polish. The interchangeable 2 pin 0.78mm cable is ultra pure silver plated oxygen free copper.
