The Woo Audio WA7e Fireflies is a dedicated electrostatic headphone amplifier and DAC sharing the same unmistakable glass-enclosed aesthetic as the WA7, bringing the same tube character and compact elegance to 580V Pro-Bias electrostatic headphones from STAX, Audeze, HiFiMan, Dan Clark Audio, and others, while also functioning as a tube preamplifier for speaker system integration. Fully balanced internal amplifier architecture designed specifically for modern 580V Pro-Bias electrostatic headphones. Two 12AU7/5963 driver tubes, self-biasing, user-replaceable for tonal customization. PTFE tube sockets. ESS SABRE audiophile DAC supporting up to 24-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256 (11.2MHz). XMOS xCORE-AUDIO asynchronous USB for PC, Mac, Android, and iOS compatibility. High-retention USB connector. Analog RCA input. Internal linear power supply for single-chassis simplicity. Please note: The WA7e requires 580V Pro-Bias electrostatic headphones, sold separately. Standard dynamic or planar magnetic headphones are not compatible.
