Wolf Von Langa Serendipity

Wolf Von Langa's most compact loudspeaker, the Serendipity proves that exceptional engineering doesn't require exceptional size. Originally conceived as a midrange unit, it revealed unexpected qualities as a complete two-way loudspeaker, and became one of WVL's most interesting and versatile designs.

Type and Technology

Passive two-way standmount loudspeaker with vibration-inhibiting passive radiators. Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter for excellent impulse response and low distortion. Proprietary woofer with nested voice coil winding technology for minimal frequency and phase modulation distortion. External crossover to isolate sensitive components from cabinet vibration. Sandwich construction housing of partially carbonized fiber composite and acrylic-bonded solid surface material. Available in passive configuration or fully active mode via external software or audio processor.

Sound Character

Tonally balanced, dynamically alive, and surprisingly room-filling for its dimensions. The Serendipity's AMT tweeter delivers air and extension without brightness, while the opposing passive radiator arrangement produces a clean, natural midrange free from the low-frequency artifacts that color most compact loudspeakers. Placement flexibility is exceptional, the near-omnidirectional dispersion pattern means virtually any listening position in the room is a good one.

Build and Finish

Sandwich construction of carbonized fiber composite and PMMA solid surface material for exceptional rigidity and freedom from resonance. External crossover with pure copper signal conductors. Multiple finish combinations available including Davos White, Vulcan Black, Avana Gray, Star Black, and Red with Vulcan Black. Optional matching stands bring the driver to optimal listening height. Five-year manufacturer warranty after registration.

Audiophiles with smaller rooms or studio environments who want WVL's full engineering capability in a compact format. Equally at home on speaker stands in a dedicated listening room or placed on a studio console for reference monitoring.
