The T+A HA200 paired with the T+A Solitaire P is a curated desktop headphone system from a single German manufacturer. The HA200 is built around the same proprietary HCSD circuitry that anchors T+A's reference electronics, and the Solitaire P is T+A's open-back planar magnetic flagship. Engineered together, voiced together, and intended to live on one desk together. Made in Herford, Germany.

Two-piece headphone listening system. The HA200 is a desktop headphone amplifier, DAC, and analog preamplifier with T+A's HCSD (High Current Symmetrical Double Differential) circuitry, MQA full decoder, PCM up to 32-bit 768kHz, and DSD1024 (quadruple-rate DSD) native support. Inputs include USB-B, optical, coaxial, AES/EBU, and analog RCA. Headphone outputs cover 4-pin XLR balanced, 4.4mm Pentaconn balanced, and 6.35mm single-ended. The Solitaire P is an open-back planar magnetic headphone using T+A's TPM 2500 transducer, with a 110 micrometer biaxially oriented polypropylene diaphragm and a hand-laid corrugation pattern for stable cone behavior across the audible band. Impedance 80 ohms, sensitivity 101 dB/V. Includes a 4-pin XLR balanced cable and a 6.35mm single-ended cable.

Sound Character

Open, airy, and effortlessly natural. The Solitaire P is one of the more transparent planar headphones available; it tends to expose whatever character its amplifier brings. The HA200 brings nothing audible to the signal. Together the presentation is wide, detailed, and rhythmically engaging, with the texture and physical bass impact that make the Solitaire P notable, plus the headroom that makes orchestral and dynamic material feel right.

Build and Connectivity

Both components are manufactured in T+A's Herford, Germany facility. The HA200 chassis is machined aluminum with a 5-inch color display and front-panel input selection. The Solitaire P uses an aluminum and Alcantara construction with a self-adjusting headband. Total desktop footprint fits in front of a 27-inch monitor without crowding.
