The SR-007S is STAX's completely redesigned Omega series earspeaker, featuring entirely new diaphragm and fixed electrode technology that brings the mid-tier electrostatic experience meaningfully closer to the SR-X9000 and SR-009S tier.

Over-ear, open-back, electrostatic. New diaphragm and refined fixed electrode technology developed specifically for the SR-007S. Pro bias (5-pin) connection. Requires a compatible electrostatic energizer.

Sound Character

Natural, detailed, and spacious. The SR-007S inherits the smooth and musical character of the original SR-007 series while delivering meaningfully improved technical performance, with greater transparency, a more extended and precise treble, and improved bass definition. A compelling mid-tier electrostatic for serious listeners.

Build and Comfort

The SR-007S uses a rounded, single-piece stainless steel earcup with an Anti-Resonance Structure (ARS) to control unwanted vibration, contributing to its substantial 430 g weight. Redesigned genuine-sheepskin earpads (with artificial leather on the surrounding portion) rotate to suit different head shapes for a better seal, while a thick, rubberized brown headband spreads the load for extended sessions. In line with the current STAX lineup, the earspeaker uses a detachable, replaceable cable.
