The Rockna Wavelight Server is a full-featured, high-end music server that replaces computers, storage drives, and external rendering chains with a single, elegantly engineered box, built around an AMD FPGA audio engine, dual CCHD957 precision clocks, and linear dual-toroidal power supplies to provide a reference-class digital source with minimal noise and maximum stability.

Sound Character

The Wavelight Server's hardware upsampling engine processes audio before it leaves the box, the FPGA and DSP stage provides a higher-quality signal to the DAC than software upsampling on a general-purpose CPU can deliver. The linear power supplies and precision clocks produce a clean, low-noise digital environment that allows the downstream DAC to perform at its full capability. Particularly effective with the Rockna Wavedream via I2S.
