Ricable Visus HDMI 2.1 Cable
The Ricable Visus HDMI is Ricable's HDMI 2.1 cable, built from the ground up around the FRL (Fixed Rate Link) signaling required for native 8K/10K resolution, dynamic HDR, and eARC. It replaces the outgoing HDMI 2.0 architecture with a design engineered specifically to the HDMI 2.1 rev. A specification while remaining backward compatible with 2.0 sources and displays. Handmade in Oleggio, Italy, with a lifetime warranty.
Type and Technology
HDMI 2.1 rev. A cable rated above 50 Gbps bandwidth at a 1300 MHz clock rate, supporting resolutions up to 10K at 100/120fps (4:2:0) and 8K at 100/120fps (4:4:4). Full support for eARC, Variable Refresh Rate, Quick Media Switching, Quick Frame Transport, Auto Low Latency Mode, High Frame Rate, and dynamic HDR metadata, alongside every prior HDMI generation standard.
Build and Connectivity
25 AWG solid-core monocrystalline OCC copper (99.9999% purity) conductors in a twisted double structure with separately screened conductors, insulated with ultra-high density PTFE dielectric. Internal aluminum/Mylar/magnesium shielding is paired with an increased tinned OFC copper braid and a high-strength nylon outer sock, with the connector itself fully shielded for the first time in a Ricable HDMI cable and finished with 24K gold-plated contacts. Outer diameter is 8mm, reduced by over 1mm versus the prior Supreme series while improving flexibility by more than 30%.
Fit and Compatibility
Connects any HDMI 2.1 source (streamer, disc player, or AV processor) to a compatible display or receiver; also usable for I2S audio over HDMI. Every device in the chain, source, intermediate components, and display, must support HDMI 2.1 to realize the full bandwidth and feature set. Available in lengths up to 3m, the practical ceiling for HDMI 2.1 cable runs at this bandwidth.
