Length

The Ricable Magnus Coaxial MKII is a 75-ohm digital coaxial cable in the Magnus series. The MKII update increases conductor cross-section and improves the dielectric and shielding over the original Magnus Coaxial for more stable impedance and cleaner SPDIF transport. Handmade in Oleggio, Italy, with a lifetime warranty.

Type and Technology

75-ohm digital coaxial (SPDIF) cable built around a solid-core 99.999% OFC copper conductor, increased to 1.13 mm² in the MKII revision. Expanded-polyethylene dielectric and a controlled 75-ohm geometry keep impedance stable for accurate digital audio transmission between a source and a DAC.

Build and Connectivity

Multi-layer shielding pairs an internal aluminum/Mylar wrap with a tinned OFC copper braid for comprehensive EMI/RFI rejection. Hand-terminated Copper/Tellurium RCA connectors are 24K gold-plated by electrolysis for a low-resistance contact. Handmade in Oleggio, Italy.

Fit and Compatibility

Connects any digital source with a coaxial RCA output (CD players, streamers, transports) to a DAC with a 75-ohm coaxial input. Available in multiple lengths.

Best For

Listeners who want a stable, well-shielded 75-ohm coaxial link for digital audio and a meaningful step up from a generic coaxial cable.
