The flagship release from Mirph Designs, VITRUM steps beyond the MIRPH-1's relaxed, musical tuning toward a more reference-leaning, energetic signature. Every VITRUM is designed, assembled, and hand-finished by builder Homero Graco, Mirph's one-person operation based in Munich. It pairs a 50mm dynamic driver with an aluminum chassis and a distinctive Forged Obsidian finish, a statement-piece build that looks as good at rest as it sounds in use.

Type and Technology

Over-ear, open-back, dynamic. A 50mm dynamic driver built with Mirph's UTG diaphragm technology sits inside a multi-layer acoustic chamber, with a resonator system tuned to keep unwanted frequency deviations out of the signal. The mechanical architecture needs no screws in the main cup assembly, and all mechanically critical parts are machined from aluminum alloy and finished in deep black anodization.

Sound Character

Dynamic-neutral. Deep, controlled bass without bloat, a rich and detailed midrange, and treble that stays present without tipping into fatigue. The standout is soundstage: a spacious, three-dimensional presentation that gives instruments real separation. Build and Comfort

Cups are precision-molded and finished in Mirph's in-house Forged Obsidian Texture, with mechanically critical components machined from aluminum alloy. The headband strap is genuine Nappa leather, available in black, burgundy, cognac, or purple, with a vegan polymer-based headband available made to order. At 470g without cable, it's a substantial build made for long sessions rather than travel.
