Kuzma 4Point Tonearm

The Kuzma 4Point is Kuzma's flagship tonearm, a completely original bearing design that uses four pointed contacts arranged in two pairs to independently control vertical and horizontal motion, achieving zero play in all planes with minimal friction across both axes simultaneously. Type and Technology

4-point bearing tonearm, 11-inch (280mm effective length). The unique 4-point bearing uses two pointed contacts for vertical movement and two separate pointed contacts for horizontal movement, each pair controlling its respective plane independently. Unlike a conventional gimbal where both axes share the same physical bearing races, the 4Point's separated contact geometry achieves zero play in all directions simultaneously while maintaining the low friction of a pointed contact bearing. The arm is firmly connected to a VTA tower that allows fine adjustment of vertical tracking angle while the record plays, the same on-the-fly VTA capability as the Stogi Reference 313 VTA, at 0.01mm precision per increment with zero play and full repeatability. Main tube machined from solid aluminum rod, identical in approach to Kuzma's Air Line parallel tracking arm. Two separate damping troughs provide independent adjustment of vertical and horizontal resonance, the troughs can be removed entirely if preferred. Dual counterweight system: a main weight for overall balance and a second fine-adjustment weight for tracking force accuracy. Worm-drive azimuth adjustment. Detachable headshell with hexagonal locking system for full rigidity. Internal wiring: special silver alloy, single uninterrupted run from cartridge clips to RCA connectors (1.4m overall). Optional biwiring: two sets of 8 wires from cartridge clips to a termination box with RCA and direct outputs simultaneously. Made in Slovenia.
