Round 2 is here, and it is exclusive to Princess Pasta Audio and Mimic Audio. The HarmonicDyne x Z Reviews Eris is the bass-first collaboration between HarmonicDyne and Zeos of Z Reviews, built around a 50mm ceramic-metal dynamic driver that Zeos physically tuned for one goal: big, lush, physical low end that stays fun for hours without turning harsh. This second run is available exclusively through Princess Pasta Audio and Mimic Audio.

Type & Technology

Semi-closed, over-ear dynamic design built around HarmonicDyne's Ceramic-Metal High-Flux Magnetic Long-Stroke driver (CMHFMLS-DD): a 50mm ceramic-metal fusion diaphragm that pairs the rigidity of ceramic layering with the tensile strength of micron-thin metal for high resolution and deep, controlled low end. A four-vent M-type pressure relief system passively tunes the acoustic cavity, giving a wide, open-sounding stage with roughly 5dB of isolation and far less leakage than a fully open design. The body runs matte black with a purple glass back, aluminum, and plastic, at about 320g without cable. Thanks to a fully symmetrical build, you can even reverse the cups and wear it backward for a wider, different staging presentation.

Sound Character

This is a warm, thick, bass-forward tuning rather than a neutral reference one. The Eris leans into a big, physical low end and a lush, non-fatiguing character that stays enjoyable at any volume instead of chasing analytical detail. At 32 ohms and a very high 118dB/Vrms sensitivity, it is easy to drive and gets loud on almost anything, from a dongle to a desktop stack, so it does not need a powerful amplifier to come alive. Because it is so sensitive, a clean, low-noise source pairs best.

Best For

Bass lovers and anyone who wants headphones that are simply fun: metal, hip-hop, electronic, gaming, and movies all hit hard. A strong pick for listeners who find reference tunings boring, who want a big stage without full open-back leakage, and who value plug-and-play ease over serious amplification. Less suited to anyone chasing a flat, analytical, neutral signature.

What's in the Box

HarmonicDyne x Z Reviews Eris headphones, a 4.4mm balanced cable (dual 3.5mm connectors, single crystal copper, 1.5m), a storage bag, and a user manual. Note: the stock cable is terminated in balanced 4.4mm, so an adapter or an alternate 3.5mm dual cable is needed for single-ended sources.
