Sound Character

The S15's AK4499EX DAC with Accusilicon femtosecond clocking produces the clear, organic, and dynamically alive presentation that the AKM flagship architecture is known for, free of the brightness that some delta-sigma implementations introduce. The custom linear power supply, with its toroidal transformer and large-capacity ELNA capacitors, provides the stable, low-noise DC foundation that allows the DAC to perform at its best.
