Fiio Oak Nano Titanium In-Ear Monitors

The Fiio Oak Nano is the first product in the Oak Series and the flagship of Fiio's Snowsky line, a single dynamic driver in-ear monitor finished with watchmaking levels of care. It is the spiritual successor to the Fiio FD7, carrying the same beryllium heritage into a smaller and more refined package.

Type and Technology

A 13.8mm external magnet dynamic driver uses a beryllium alloy W shaped dome with an independent surround. Magnetic flux in the voice coil gap reaches nearly 1.5T, keeping distortion as low as 0.1% even at 114dB. An Acoustic Prism front chamber, proven in the FD7, corrects phase and standing wave distortion, while a damped rear chamber regulates airflow for fuller mids and bass.

Sound Character

Fast, open and precise, with the treble extension beryllium is famous for. Two swappable tuning nozzles change its personality: the red nozzle brings a deep, atmospheric low end for pop, rock and folk, while the black nozzle emphasizes crystalline detail for classical and instrumental music. The included Type C plug adds a BES3001-SP DSP with 32 bit 384kHz decoding and an 8 band parametric EQ through the Fiio Control app or web interface.

Build and Comfort

The shells are pure titanium, CNC machined, mirror polished and PVD coated, so they keep their luster for years. The detachable 0.78mm 2 pin cable uses 6N monocrystalline copper with silver plating, cryo treated in liquid nitrogen for over 100 hours, and terminates in swappable 3.5mm, 4.4mm and Type C plugs.
