Fiio FH19 In-Ear Monitors

The Fiio FH19 is the flagship of Fiio's hybrid line: two 13.7 mm dynamic drivers in a push pull arrangement plus six Knowles balanced armatures per side, wrapped in aerospace aluminum with a titanium midframe and a pure silver cable.

Type and Technology

The opposed push pull woofer pair, co developed with Tokyo Onkyo, uses PU and DLC composite diaphragms to cancel distortion while moving serious air. Four custom Knowles enhanced mid frequency armatures and a Knowles SWFK dual tweeter complete the four way design, managed by a crossover built with 0.1 percent tolerance Rubycon film capacitors. Fiio's S.Turbo turbine bass tube, a notch filter that removes the usual 8 kHz armature peak, and three swappable sound filters round out the toolkit.

Build and Comfort

Semi open shells machined from 7000 series aerospace aluminum ride on a pure titanium midframe, about 12 g per earpiece. The 224 wire monocrystalline pure silver Litz cable uses expanded MMCX connectors and twist lock swappable 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm plugs, with the balanced plug preinstalled.
