Fiio FD3 In-Ear Monitors

The Fiio FD3 is a semi open single dynamic IEM with a 12 mm diamond like carbon diaphragm and a warm, fun house tuning. It comes in two versions: the standard FD3 with a monocrystalline copper cable, and the FD3 Pro, which upgrades to Fiio's LC-RC silver plated cable with interchangeable plugs.

Type and Technology

A 12 mm dynamic driver with a DLC diaphragm sits in a 1.5 tesla magnetic circuit, driven by an ultra fine Japanese Daikoku copper clad aluminum voice coil. The acoustic prism inherited from the flagship FD5 diffuses high frequencies, while a semi open vent balances pressure for long sessions. Red and black interchangeable sound tubes let you tilt the tuning toward bass or treble detail.
