Fiio BTA30 Pro Bluetooth Transmitter and Receiver

The FiiO BTA30 Pro is a rare two way Bluetooth bridge for serious audio systems. It can receive high resolution wireless audio from your phone into your hi-fi, or transmit from your TV, turntable setup or PC out to Bluetooth headphones, in both directions with LDAC. A genuine ES9038Q2M DAC inside means the wired conversion quality matches the wireless convenience.

Type and Technology

The BTA30 Pro is a desktop Bluetooth 5.0 transmitter, receiver and USB DAC. A CSR8675 Bluetooth chip works alongside a CT7302 DSP and the ESS ES9038Q2M DAC, which offers up to 128dB dynamic range. It receives SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD and LDAC, transmits SBC, aptX, aptX Low Latency, aptX HD and LDAC, and decodes USB audio up to 384kHz/32bit with DSD256 (DoP).

Through its RCA outputs the BTA30 Pro sounds clean, wide and precise in typical ESS style, elevating Bluetooth playback to something you can genuinely enjoy on a proper speaker system. As a transmitter it sends a stable, high bitrate signal so your wireless headphones receive the best feed they can decode.

Build and Features

The compact aluminum chassis offers optical and coaxial inputs and outputs, RCA analog output, USB-C for audio and power, plus front panel controls with clear LED indicators. Everything from codec priority to volume behavior can be configured in the FiiO Control app, and it works standalone as a USB or SPDIF DAC even with Bluetooth off.
