The Ferrum Wandla HP is the flagship Wandla DAC and preamplifier with an integrated headphone amplifier added to the same sleek chassis, a one-box solution that sits between the ERCO and a full OOR/Wandla stack, delivering 3.5 watts balanced, 122dB dynamic range, and the flagship ESS9038PRO conversion in a genuinely complete all-in-one component.

Digital inputs: AES/EBU, optical S/PDIF, coaxial S/PDIF, USB-C, ARC with CEC, and I2S (PS Audio compatible). Analog input: RCA. Line outputs: balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA. Headphone output: 4.4mm Pentaconn balanced (6.35mm adapter included). MQA decoder and renderer on all digital inputs. Proprietary FPL DC connector for use with Ferrum HYPSOS. GoldenSound firmware compatible. Remote control included. Made in Poland.
Sound Character
Detailed, dynamic, and naturally balanced. The Wandla HP inherits the same DAC performance as the standard Wandla, 127dB dynamic range on analog inputs, 0.00009% THD at the DAC stage, and adds a headphone amplifier section with exceptional measured performance: 0.00016% THD balanced at 10mW into 50 ohms and a 122dB dynamic range. The overall presentation is transparent and precise, with a level of resolution and headroom that reveals exactly what the source material contains.
Build and Finish
The same chassis as the standard Wandla with a single 4.4mm Pentaconn balanced headphone output added to the front panel. Compact and elegant at 21.7 x 20.6 x 5 cm. Volume control operates in analog bypass mode or digital mode depending on configuration. Remote control included for full operation.
