Dan Clark Audio's flagship closed-back headphone and one of the most technically ambitious closed-back designs ever made, the Stealth took four years of development to achieve a closed-back presentation that genuinely rivals open-back headphones at its price level.

Type and Technology

Over-ear, closed-back, planar magnetic. V-Planar driver with DCA's Acoustic Metamaterial Tuning System (AMTS), which uses a precisely engineered metamaterial layer to absorb and redirect internal reflections that would otherwise color the sound in a closed-back design. Made in the USA.

Sound Character

Remarkably open and transparent for a closed-back. The AMTS technology eliminates the boxiness and reflection artifacts that limit most closed-back headphones, resulting in a wide, natural soundstage with accurate imaging and a frequency response that is linear and reference-quality. Bass is extended and controlled, midrange is transparent, and treble is smooth and detailed.

Build and Comfort

Carbon fiber and aluminum construction with DCA's NiTinol memory metal headband. Premium Vegan leather earpads. Excellent passive isolation makes the Stealth practical in noisy environments while still delivering audiophile-grade sound. Available with multiple cable options at time of order.
