Open-back 580V Pro-Bias electrostatic headphone. 88mm re-engineered driver with more consistent diaphragm tension and uniformity for enhanced linearity and better channel matching. Super-thin metal stators for resolution enhancement. DCA Acoustic Metamaterial Tuning System (AMTS): patent-pending inline waveguide, diffusion control, quarter-wave and Helmholtz resonator architecture placed between the transducer and the ear, eliminating high-frequency standing waves that cause the glare, spikes, and unrealistic string/cymbal/vocal reproduction common in electrostatic headphones. Self-tensioning headband. Matched ear pads with suede contact surface for heat and moisture reduction during extended listening. User-detachable cable (note: not designed for daily changes). Sound Character

The Corina delivers electrostatic resolution with a tone that is rich, warm, and natural -- a departure from the traditionally bright, lean character of the format. Bass extends flat to 6 Hz with genuine weight and physicality, the midrange is sumptuous and natural, and the top end is extended and detailed without fatigue or glare. An electrostatic that is equally enjoyable with electronica and rock as with acoustic and orchestral music.

Build and Comfort

Built around DCA's self-tensioning titanium-alloy headband: two thin titanium wires paired with a wide, cushioned suspension strap that lowers the center of gravity and spreads the load, so the Corina wears more comfortably than its 465 g suggests. The ergonomic ear pads are plush and use a suede contact surface that reduces heat and moisture buildup on long sessions, with generously sized cups and a well-judged clamp force. All ear pads ship as matched pairs to tighten left/right tolerances and reduce unit-to-unit variance. Clamp and comfort suit average-to-large heads for hours-long listening.
