Type and Technology

Reference-tier power cable, 3 x 9 AWG conductors. Twisted triad mixed with PVC air-tubes bound with FEP tape wrap. Grade 1, 99.9999% pure oxygen-free tin-plated copper, gauge sizes scaled to Golden Ratio proportions. Cross-field layer geometry insulated in TPE jacket. Each conductor has multiple lay lengths and its own individual shield. Entire cable double-shielded with tin-plated copper and magnet wire. Super-flexible TPR outer jacket.

Noise Filtration

A toroidal ground filter is built into the termination and works in unison with a ground-leg extension system that runs the path to ground at three times the cable's own length. The result: the most aggressive passive filtration Cardas has implemented on a power cable, designed to deliver completely clean high-current power to power-hungry amplifiers and stable, noise-free power to sensitive source components.

Build and Connectivity

Standard terminations: Cardas E-5 premium power plugs with silver/rhodium-plated solid copper contacts, soldered and crimped. All standard international wall plugs available. 20-amp IEC connectors available. Hand-terminated in Bandon, Oregon.
