Campfire Audio Axion

Sale price$249.00

Axion is a single-driver in-ear monitor built around Campfire Audio's Silicon Dynamic Driver (SDD): a single full-range transducer that combines the compact footprint of a balanced armature with the mechanical behavior of a dynamic driver. Sold with a hardwired USB-C DAC cable for direct plug-and-play use. Hand-built in Portland, Oregon.

Type and Technology

Universal-fit single-driver IEM. One Silicon Dynamic Driver (SDD) full-range transducer per side. Custom Matrix MMCX at the earphone side, with the included hardwired USB-C cable carrying an integrated DAC (32-bit / 384 kHz, DSD 128 / DSD 256, 1 Vrms output) and an in-line three-button remote with microphone. Can be worn earbud-style or routed over-ear like a traditional IEM.

Sound Character

Smooth, precise, and detailed across the band; the SDD's single full-range diaphragm delivers the impact and timbral character of a dynamic driver without the crossover phase issues of a multi-driver design. Best treated as an everyday plug-and-play HiFi solution rather than a deep-resolution reference.

Build and Comfort

Transparent acrylic housing with internally dyed black accents, gold PVD stainless steel hardware, and a gold PVD aluminum nozzle. Compact, ergonomic shell shape sized for long-session comfort. Custom Matrix MMCX at the earphone side.

Best For

Listeners who want a single-cable USB-C HiFi rig for phone, tablet, or laptop with no DAC dongle to manage, including users who take calls or media commands via the in-line remote.
