If you have tubes be cautious as they were able to distort my tube amps. It’s not the rated impedance it’s as the cone moves it’s dropping below my amps ability. So last shot I turned the amp dials to use Abyss 1266 and problem gone. I had no background hiss at no volume totally silent for my 50 year old raver ears.
It would get 5 stars if every amp could handle it.
Now on my Hifiman Seranade no problemo! My Mass Kobo 475 portable perfect on hi gain.
So educate on your amp running them and you’ll be very happy.
Nothing like 300b sound on dynamics depending on your tube tastes.
Solid states seem safer bet and the Aegis uses Cathode Bias if I’m correct. Solid states seem it had no issues from memory.
As far as sound everything they claim is true!
