Color: Black

The Aurender MC10 is a 10MHz rubidium master clock, the more accessible entry point to Aurender's master clock lineup, positioned below the reference MC20. It uses a rubidium atomic oscillator for exceptional timing stability, feeding a compatible Aurender transport, server, or DAC with an external clock reference to lower jitter and improve the analogue character of the digital system.

Type and Technology

Rubidium-based 10MHz master clock generator with a linear power supply and toroidal transformer. It provides four 10MHz outputs (two 75 ohm and two 50 ohm) to distribute an ultra-stable reference to components with an external clock input.

Sound Character

A master clock does not produce sound on its own, but by disciplining the timing of the connected digital components it is intended to reduce jitter and yield a more settled, natural, and analogue-leaning presentation, with improved focus and low-level resolution.

Build and Connectivity

Brushed aluminum chassis with a linear power supply. Four 10MHz outputs (2 x 75 ohm, 2 x 50 ohm) connect to compatible clock-input components. Aurender lists compatibility with the N20, W20, W20SE, N30SA, and AP20, as well as select premium DACs from other makers.

Best For

Owners of a clock-capable Aurender server or a compatible high-end DAC who want to lower jitter and extract the last measure of timing precision from a reference digital system.
