Aurender ACS100

The Aurender ACS100 is a streamlined CD ripping and library management server, an add-on companion designed to bring professional CD archiving, metadata editing, and central server functionality to any existing Aurender system, at a lower cost than the full-featured ACS10. The ideal accessory for Aurender owners who want to digitize a CD collection and serve it to multiple systems in the home.

Type and Technology

CD ripper, library management server, and central music server with USB audio output. Slot-loading optical drive using TEAC CD-ROM hardware and Aurender's audiophile CD ripping engine, lossless, error-corrected rips in FLAC, WAV, or AIFF with automatic metadata retrieval. Two user-installable storage bays for library and cache storage. Serves music libraries to other Aurender players on the home network, acts as a central "mothership" for multi-room Aurender systems, allowing other players to run light and fast while ACS100 handles storage. USB audio output (basic) for use as a standalone source in a secondary system. External SMPS power supply rather than the ACS10's internal linear supply. Nimbie auto-loader compatible for large batch ripping projects. Supercapacitor UPS. Double-isolated Gigabit Ethernet. Controlled via Aurender Conductor and ACS Manager apps (iOS/Android).

Sound Character

As a CD ripper and library server rather than a primary audio transport, the ACS100 is optimized for accuracy, convenience, and multi-system integration. The USB output is functional for secondary system use but the ACS100's highest and best role is as a server companion to a dedicated Aurender transport such as the N150, N200, or N20.
