Aurender A20

The Aurender A20 is derived directly from the A30 and delivers the same reference-level DAC performance and analog output quality, built around the identical dual-mono AKM AK4497 DAC and OCXO clock, with the same full linear power supply architecture, but streamlined by removing the CD ripper and replacing the factory-fitted 10TB HDD with two user-installable 2.5" storage bays. The ideal Aurender all-in-one for listeners who stream and already have a digital music library, without paying for CD ripping capability they won't use.

All-in-one analog output network player with integrated DAC and headphone output. Dual-mono AKM AK4497 DAC with OCXO word clock, identical to the A30. FPGA-based precision clock generation with sub-100fs jitter. Full linear power supply: four independent toroidal transformers, 50W for CPU, 25W each for DAC left and right channels, 35W combined for FPGA and headphone section. Supercapacitor UPS for safe shutdown. Two user-installable 2.5" storage bays: install up to 2x 8TB SSDs for your music library, or leave them empty for a pure streaming setup. 480GB NVMe SSD for system and cache. MQA full decoder. PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512 internally. USB audio output up to 384kHz/DSD512 natively. Digital inputs: 1x coaxial RCA, 1x coaxial BNC, 2x optical TOSLINK. Sound Character

Identical to the A30 in all DAC and power supply design aspects, the same dual-mono AK4497 with OCXO and dedicated per-channel transformer power. The A20 does not compromise the audio performance of the A30 in any measurable or audible sense; the differences are entirely in features and form factor. The dedicated headphone output (6.35mm single-ended) benefits from its own linear power supply.
