Aune AS5

The Aune AS5 is Aune's first active speaker: a powered bookshelf pair built on a strict pure analog philosophy. There is no DSP in the signal path, just Class AB amplification and an analog crossover tuned and calibrated at the factory with reference-grade equipment.

Type and Technology

Each cabinet is a true independent monoblock with its own dedicated 100W toroidal transformer and Class AB amplifier stage, so there is no master and slave arrangement and both channels receive identical drive. A 5.5 inch bio-fiber cone woofer and a 1 inch silk dome tweeter are joined by a lossless pure analog crossover.

Sound Character

Natural and uncolored. With no digital processing in the path, the AS5 aims for the coherence and ease of classic analog hi-fi, with the bio-fiber woofer providing warm, textured mids and the silk dome keeping treble smooth and refined.

Build and Features

Independently powered cabinets mean flexible placement and consistent stereo drive at any listening level. Every pair is professionally tuned before it leaves the factory, available in white or black finishes.
