The Woo Audio WA7 Fireflies (3rd Generation) is the refined evolution of one of the most iconic desktop vacuum tube amplifiers ever designed, maintaining the unmistakable glass-enclosed aesthetic that made the original famous, while updating the internals with a balanced 4.4mm headphone output, internal linear power supply, and preamplifier output for speaker system integration. A one-box solution with an ESS SABRE DAC and 12AU7 tubes in a compact 6-inch cube. Designed and assembled in New York.

Desktop vacuum tube DAC, headphone amplifier, and preamplifier. Class A balanced amplifier with up to 1.5W per channel at 4 ohms. Two 12AU7/5963 driver tubes, self-biasing, user-replaceable at any time for tonal customization. PTFE tube sockets. ESS SABRE audiophile DAC supporting up to 24-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256 (11.2MHz). XMOS xCORE-AUDIO asynchronous USB for compatibility with PC, Mac, Android, and iOS devices. Internal linear power supply (updated from the original two-box design). Preamplifier function: both 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm stereo pre-out outputs for integration with powered speakers or a power amplifier. Anodized aluminum chassis available in midnight black or silver, with a glass cover on top to display the tubes. Compatible with headphones from 8 to 600 ohms at 99dB sensitivity and below. Sound Character

The ESS SABRE DAC provides a clean, detailed digital foundation for the tube stage to express. The 3rd Gen's 1.5W balanced output gives it meaningful drive capability for demanding headphones while remaining perfectly voiced for sensitive IEMs in single-ended mode.
