The Takatsuki TA-300B is a premium reimagining of the Western Electric 300B, manufactured entirely in Japan by Takatsuki Electric Co. Ltd., a company with 60 years of semiconductor and vacuum tube production heritage. Built with aerospace-grade precision, hand-assembled in cleanroom conditions, and laser-engraved with individual serial numbers for full manufacturing traceability. Each tube ships with a test report and a wood storage box.

Type and Technology

Directly heated power triode, 300B type. Kovar glass envelope, lead-free and heat-resistant above 300°C, using Kovar lead-wire with matched thermal expansion coefficient to eliminate vacuum leakage. Custom-ordered tri-metal plate (anode) pressed with Takatsuki's proprietary die for exceptional structural strength. Grid wound from high-purity tungsten wire, controlled to within 1 micron accuracy using a factory-designed winding machine. Spring-supported filament made from strictly selected tungsten wire for smooth, even heating without radiation. Filament core from thin high-purity nickel plate for outstanding heat resistance. All components nitrogen-stored between production steps to prevent oxidation. Spark-free welding throughout. Laser-engraved serial number on the upper mica for complete lot traceability.
