The Ideon Audio eos Stream utilizes trickle-down technologies and R&D gained, from our extensive work with our flagship Absolute Stream. Most of the Absolute Stream’s innovations and designs are found in the eos Stream in its own scale.
The eos Stream introduces significant technology and performance enhancements for rendering music files, including:

The Ideon Audio Design principles
True to Ideon's tradition, the eos Stream is a fully proprietary design incorporating in-house developed audio technologies. Our goal was to create a device delivering dynamic, natural sound that complements the eos DAC, offering a level of musical engagement seldom achieved in digital playback.
Unlike conventional computers adapted for music, the eos Stream is purpose-built as an audio device, following a philosophy similar to the Absolute Stream. It supports multiple playback options: use Ideon Audio’s native player for optimal sound or any popular third-party software like Roon, JRiver, or Audirvana.
Compatible with any UPNP-supporting software, it also functions as a Roon-ready endpoint with the addition of a built-in Roon core, removing the need for an external server. The eos Stream handles all your music collections, whether stored internally, on external drives, or NAS, and streams audio seamlessly from internet services like Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, and web radio.

Future-proof re-clocking / phase correction
For jitter elimination, a specially designed re-clocking circuit, comprising of a femto clock architecture, embedded in eos Stream as standard and not as an option with extra charge. This is an upgradable platform for any future technology advancements.
Independent power lines, special power for the rendering CPU
The eos Stream circuit features separate, discrete power lines with low-noise linear power supplies that deliver the necessary voltage levels.
Building on insights gained from designing the Absolute Stream; where transient current quality to the CPU significantly impacted sound performance, we incorporated a proprietary ultra-low ESR bypass power filter to enhance transient current fidelity, yielding outstanding sonic results.
A distinctive benefit of the eos Stream design is the complete elimination of switching power supplies, including within the CPU power rails, ensuring a cleaner audio signal.

Prioritizing sound quality above all, we minimized internal components that generate noise. This streamlined and straightforward design of the eos Stream delivers exceptional audio performance, precisely meeting the expectations of discerning music enthusiasts.
