Cardas Clear Interconnects

The Cardas Clear Interconnects are the established flagship analog interconnect from Cardas Audio, completely neutral, transparent, and dynamic, designed for reference-level systems in acoustically neutral listening rooms. Excellent in both long and short runs. Hand-built in Bandon, Oregon.

Type and Technology

Reference analog interconnect, equilateral triad 3-conductor geometry. Matched Propagation Kevlar core with ultra-fine Grade 1, 99.9999% pure oxygen-free copper, SPN clear-coated Litz construction, gauge sizes scaled to Golden Ratio proportions, ranging from 41 AWG to 39 AWG. Cross-field layer geometry insulated in ultra-thin extruded PTFE. Anti-static LDPE air-tubes bound with carbon-impregnated PTFE tape wrap. Outer-layer PTFE air-tubes scaled 1.618 times larger than core tubes suspend the composite shield (tinned copper plus magnet wire) away from the signal conductors. Finished in an ultra-soft extruded TPR jacket.

Completely neutral and transparent. Superb dynamics, high-frequency extension, and speed with perfect control across the entire frequency range. Extracts every detail while remaining musical, the long-standing Cardas reference cable for systems that demand maximum fidelity.
