Over-ear, open-back, planar magnetic. Fazor waveguides, N50 neodymium magnets. Handcrafted in California.

Sound Character

Retains the full-bodied warmth of the LCD-2 while adding greater articulation in the upper midrange, improved instrument separation, and a tighter, more controlled bass. The soundstage is wider and more precisely defined, instruments are placed with real authority.

Build and Comfort

Real wood ear cups grain-matched by hand, lambskin or leather-free earpads, and a machined aluminum yoke. At approximately 490g, noticeably more comfortable than previous generations.
